Breakfast in Manhattan
Together with local elected and appointed officials, agency partners, business and community leaders, members of the development and finance teams and MHANY residents we are inviting small groups to join us in an intimate setting that will allow closer interaction between our friends and colleagues. At our Breakfast in Manhattan event, we’re highlighting MHANY’s work on the Washington Heights ANCP project.

Washington Heights ANCP
The Affordable Neighborhood Cooperative Program (ANCP) selects qualified developers to rehabilitate distressed city-owned occupied multi-family properties, managed by HPD’s Tenant Interim Lease Program, in order to create affordable cooperatives for low and moderate-income households.
MHANY was designated by NYC HPD and is working with Neighborhood Restore to rehabilitate four buildings in Washington Heights. MHANY is the designated developer and managing agent, and has been working since 2018 to temporarily relocate families, undertake substantial rehabilitation of the buildings, move original families back into their renovated apartments and market and sell the remaining units through HPD’s Housing Connect portal.. All residents attend cooperative ownership training classes with UHAB and MHANY to get a fundamental understanding of cooperative ownership and its operational requirements. In addition to working to convert the buildings to cooperative ownership, MHANY will continue on as manager of the properties.
